The warmth with which you will be treated and the friendly, convivial atmosphere will give you the sense of the genuine lifestyle for which Tuscany is known all over the world.

An English speaking driver will drive a small group of you from Florence through the enchanting Tuscan countryside, enjoying the picturesque hilly landscape. When you reachthe Castle, you will be welcomed as friends in the lovely fifteenth century courtyard and a member of the family will give you an exclusive tour of the private rooms, normally not open to the public. After which you will led down into the ancient, spellbinding cellarswhere the prestigious wines and the extra-virgin olive oil produced on the farm are kept. You will then be taken to the old kitchen and will learn how to make pasta according to the tradition, handed down from one generation to the other in the Tuscan countryside: from the initial blending of eggs and flour, to the kneading of the pastry by hand, which will then be rolled out with a rolling pin and laid on the pastry board and finally cut up into “tagliatelle” and “taglierini”. After which, you will prepare two sauces for the pasta: one with meat as well as a vegetarian one. Finally, you will all sit down around the kitchen table and savour the way people lived in the old times and taste not only the famous wines of the farm (Chianti, Chianti Riserva and Vin Santo – Holy wine), but the pasta that you have made with your own hands, followed by Tuscan specialities, prepared with local products: bruschette (toasted Tuscan bread) with olive oil, Tuscan sheep’s cheese, salame, crostini (toasted Tuscan bread with meat, liver and caper sauce) and the famous cantuccini (biscuits filled with almonds). After which, you will be able to enjoy the air andviews of the countryside, strolling through the olive-groves and the ancient vineyards surrounding the Castle and popping into the old-fashioned little shop to discover the farm products that you will have tasted at lunch. The warmth with which you will be treated and the friendly, convivial atmosphere will give you the sense of the genuine lifestyle for which Tuscany is known all over the world.Children under the age of 8 not admitted
